Awesome Teachers instructs the following:
  • Keep Sugar Land Sweaty 30-day challenge
  • Come get sweaty with us!
    The challenge: Take as many classes as possible in the month of September for chances to win various prizes.
     
    Finish each "club" levels for a different prize! 
    Club levels are 15 classes, 20, 25, and 30 classes! For the extra sweaty participants (30 classes) your name will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a Manduka Mat, Free Month of Yoga or Manduka Mat Towel! 
     
    The Rules:
    • Register no later than Sep 5th (registration is FREE - just pay for your classes).
    • All classes must be taken at Awakened Yoga & any class counts!
    • Workshops and 90 minute JIP classes count as 2 classes.
    • You can double up!
    • Add your name to our sticker chart and keep track of your classes.
    • HAVE FUN!
     
    A special 90-minute Journey Into Power class will be taught every Sunday in September by various teachers. Come in for the class and receive 2 class credits!

  • Buti-Yasa Class
  • A fun fusion of Buti Yoga and Vinyasa Flow promoting body awareness, self-love, and fun all in one class!!

    This class incorporates yoga, cardio, strength training, and dance set to bumpin' music.

    Space is limited. Booty shorts optional not required. Bring your mat, some water, and a towel and get ready to have a good time!!

    Use your class package or a class pass.


  • Spectrum Yoga (9-12yrs)
  • Connecting youth on the spectrum through movement & mindfulness.

    This 6 week program is tailored to help high-functioning non-neurotypical teens, such as those diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder and Autism, between the ages of 9 and 12 years. We aim to help them acquire higher levels of overall health, wellness, and resiliency. Each class will focus on breath and meditation as a means of lowering anxiety levels as well as movement and yoga poses that promote grounding for more body awareness and stability.

    September 30th - November 4th

  • Flow
  • This is an all-level vinyasa practice where poses are explored beyond the basics and at a faster pace. This class is appropriate for ambitious beginners and long time practitioners.

  • Flow Basics
  • A vinyasa practice taught at a slower pace, with more explanation on correct alignment and modifi- cations. Basic postures are explored including standing poses, standing balancing poses, core work and back- bends. This class is appropriate for absolute beginners or experienced students wanting to take it down a notch.

  • First Friday Free Flow @ Whole Foods Sugar Land
  • Do you enjoy practicing yoga in the fresh air, under the open sky? We are sooo excited to partner with Whole Foods in Sugar Land for a free yoga class on the outdoor patio. This is open to all levels. Bring your mat, some water, a friend and enjoy some live music while we stretch our lungs and body, as well as strengthen the muscles and the mind body connection.
