Once I graduated high school, my passion for yoga spiraled into a dedicated practice. After about two years of consistent practice, I decided that teaching people my passion was something I needed to do. I completed my 200 hour RYT with LifePower Yoga in June 2017 and began teaching the following month. I am certified to teach vinyasa style classes as well as yin and I have a background practice in Ashtanga which often gives inspiration to the asanas in my classes. My personal practice is constantly evolving and is a major influence in the style of my classes. I love to get creative with transitions and throw advance postures while still providing modifications for every level of experience. I also love to get upside down and play with arm balances. Hula Hoops & Yoga
Come play with Rachael and Alyssa to discover your inner child as we take you through a fun combination of both yoga and hula hooping. In this workshop we'll warm up with a soft yoga flow to get our bodies prepared to learn some introductory hula hoop tricks. Hula hooping has been growing in popularity as a fun way to exercise while finding mindful movement to connect and express yourself. Step out of your comfort zone and learn a complimentary creative flow that you can practice and continue at home or to just show up the kids with your new hula hoop tricks next family get together.
**Hula hoops will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you have one. Avoid anything that has water or beads inside. Kids welcome as long as they can go through a 20 minute yoga flow and savasana.**
