Chris

Chris began dabbling with yoga at a fitness center in 2006, but didn’t begin a consistent practice until he started practicing at Awakened Yoga Studio in 2014.

Since then, Chris describes his experience with yoga as if he is talking about magic. “My body, mind and spirit have all grown in strength and resilience. My heart is as open as it’s ever been. I’ve even had my first real connection with the Divine, and I attribute it all to my yoga practice. I view these all as real-life miracles.”

Chris completed the AYS 200-hour yoga teacher training in March of 2018 and Annie Au’s 100-hour Chinese Meridians and yin yoga teacher training in August 2018.

Chris teaches Flow Basics, Slow Flow, Hot Flow, Hot Power Flow and Yin with a strong emphasis on alignment and breath. Outside of yoga, Chris is interested in nature, meditation, trail running, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and healthy, delicious foods.
