From Ouch to Ahhh.....Lisa Smith


Two years ago I started my yoga practice at Awakened Yoga Studio. I started because of a very painful heel spur that was not getting better. I was excited to attend the “From Ouch to Ahhh“ series because my injury was much more than an annoyance. The series was great! I learned much more about my injury and about strengthening that area. It gave me a better understanding of the various joints in conjunction with the yoga poses and how this knowledge can help with injury prevention.
No one wants an injury!! Knowledge is KEY!!! Not to mention… Dr. Sophia is awesome!!!
